“We see the same dynamic going forward as we do after this year,” Bostrop said. “With new coach Luke (McGee) and new general manager (Matt) Smith, it’s hard because we’re both rebuilding, and obviously Luke came in and helped with how the season has gone. Obviously a lot of times that’s just not possible.
“We’re not in a position to say they have the tools to make the playoffs – but certainly there’s value to them.
“But they can play some tough spots. They can improve their defense against Chicago, which could be one or two, and help them play with confidence against the Lakers. If they can, then we can be certain that they can compete with the rest.”
