The debut of the Corsa model took place in 1983. The first generation was represented by 3- and 5-door hatchbacks, 2- and 4-door sedans and a 3-door station wagon, which were modernized twice in 10 years of production – in 1987 and 1990.

The car is now equipped with electric power steering, a modified front wheel suspension, and under the hood – a completely new three-cylinder engine of the ECOTEC family with a working volume of 1 liter and 55 hp.
